University of the Cordilleras 七夕飾りワークショップ 日比友好月間 バギオ七夕祭１１

２０２３年７月７日（金）７：３０AMから正午まで、ＵＣ大学のカンニャオ・

ホールで「七夕飾りワークショップ・コンテスト」が開催され、大盛況となりました。

ＵＣ大学の学生、１チーム７名で１５チームが参加、７学部からのエントリーがありました。
今回のワークショップは、日本の七夕飾り、フィリピンの飾り付け、そしてオリジナリティを競うコンテストとなりました。審査員は、日本人の英語学校や大学への留学生、日系人会の役員、そして大学の先生方でした。
様々な願い事が短冊に書かれました。日本人留学生がフィリピン人大学生の願い事を日本語で書いていました。

これら５つの入賞作品は、７月２３日にバギオ博物館でオープンする「バギオ七夕祭１１＆金沢UNESCO創造都市」展で一般に公開されます。又同時に授賞式も行なわれます。
オープニングでは、お祈りと日比両国の国歌斉唱に続いて、このイベントの責任者である　Dr. Gregerlin Lambenicio の挨拶がありました。その後、オカベ先生による七夕祭に関する日本文化の紹介などがありました。
JIC英語学校やSLU大学に留学中の日本人の皆さんにボランティアでアシスタントや審査員になっていただきました。

収容人数１００人のホールは、日本人留学生などを入れると３０人超過となりました。
飾り付け終了のカウントダウンが始まると、完成が危ぶまれた多くのチームが一気呵成に飾り付けに集中しました。
圧倒的に女子大生が多い中、男子学生が奮闘する姿がチラホラ見られました。
お陰様で大盛況となった　大学での初めての試み。関係者の皆々さまに心より御礼を申し上げます。

Withover 100 talented students who joined us, we embarked on

a journey to celebrate the 2023 Philippines-Japan Friendship month.
