These photographs form part of the exhibition Baguio Then/Now that opens on Dec.20, 2007 at 4p.m., Parkview Terrace, SM City Baguio. The first of a series of exhibitions produced by the BaguioBenguetStudies and hosted by SM, this show features images of Baguio in the early 1900s and of 2007 re-photography by 12 Baguio photographers. The show will move to the Gallery, Lower Basement on Dec. 22 and will run till Jan. 30, 2008. – E.R. Alcantara

Featured in the exhibition are early Baguio photographs from the Baguio Benguet Studies Digital Archive culled from various archival sources and private collections.

The 2007 re-photography is by Robbie Casas, Elicon Consul, Caesar Paul Garcia, JT Gonzales, Rudy Furuya, Tommy Hafalla, Ric Maniquis, Julius Mendoza, Mark Perez, Rudi Tabora, Ompong Tan, and Boy Yniguez. Exhibit curator is Erlyn Ruth Alcantara.

A set of images in the exhibition appears in a Baguio 2008 Calendar that will be launched at Cordillera Coffee, patio , upper ground floor, SM City Baguio at 5p.m. also on Dec.20.

この写真展は、バギオ・ベンゲット・スタディーズという団体によるもので、１９００年代初期の当時のバギオの古い写真と　２００７年に１２名のバギオの写真家によって撮影された同じアングルの写真を公開するものです。
１２名の写真家の中に　日本人写真家の　RUDY　FURUYA（古屋英之助）さんがいらっしゃいます。
２００８年のバギオ・カレンダーに　これらの写真が使用されるとのことです。
